WYF: I actually think it’s alright, everyone has their likes and dislikes, clothes that suit them or don’t suit them. As long as it’s comfortable when you wear it, confidence is key.

TC: A lot of male celebrities when wearing brand-name clothing would need to do a lot of tailoring, but you’d find it small. 

WYF: Hehe! Actually it’s still that saying, the key is to see if it suits yourself. That is more important.

TC: Please talk about your look for today.

WYF: This is a 2014 F/W season tailless tuxedo, the outfits details and design are very exclusive, the shirt cuffs and cuff links are all very unique. I, myself, put importance in details when it comes to clothing, a small change in detail could make a big difference to the overall effect.

TC: Currently everyone is calling you a male god, how do you feel about being called a male god? Are you used to it?

WYF: I don’t dare, I really don’t dare to be a male god. I will continuously improve my abilities and skills in different areas. I will give the best Wu Yifan to everyone.

TC: What do you think makes a “xing nan”?

WYF: Handsome! And also confidence.

TC: Your usual work is very stressful, but your skin condition is very good, do you do any special care?

WYF: I don’t really do anything special, perhaps its because I’m currently still young and I still haven’t really reached the age where I need any extra maintenance. I probably will in the future 

TC: Christmas is coming, do you plan to give yourself a long vacation?

WYF: Actually to come here to the shop and look around is already considered a vacation to me. I personally really like it, it feels very comfortable.

TC: For this Fall/Winter, you have to choose one product for yourself, what is it?

WYF: I really like one of Givenchy’s printed t-shirts from this season, I really want it.

TC: As a new generation “xingnan,” what kind of products do you wear the most of in your wardrobe?

WYF: Coats. I like jewelry a lot, I wear a lot of rings and bracelets.
